Flame Control Laboratory and Flow Laboratory at their Stafford, Texas manufacturing facility.
The Groth Flow Lab is one of the most modern low pressure, high volume flow labs in the United States. It meets ASME PTC-25 requirements and is TUV certified. The flow lab has a maximum flow rate of 600,000 standard cubic feet per hour and can generate a maximum pressure of 5 pounds per square inch and it gets better the air will flow continually without interruption. The lab was validated by Southwest Research to comply with ASME PTC-25 which means that the results of our lab are consistent to +/- 2% of the values given. Additionally the lab was certified by TUV to comply with API standards. The flame lab was designed to comply with ATEX, ISO 16852 requirements for deflagrations and is capable of testing to FM Approvals and USCG.
The Groth Flame Control Lab is designed to perform deflagration and burn tests per the European ATEX, and US Coast Guard test standards. The lab has the capability to test with various gases, including Methane, Propane, Ethylene and others.
